We spend so much time waiting to become the person who feels ready—more confident, more certain, less afraid.
We tell ourselves we will begin when we know more. When the fear settles. When we are sure we will not fail or look foolish. But confidence rarely arrives while we are standing still.
Sometimes doing the thing is how we become the person capable of doing it.
The first step may feel awkward. Your voice may shake. You may question yourself the entire way there. That does not mean you should wait. It means you are moving before certainty has caught up with you.
